Slack-specific help

To install Sauna
Visit sauna.ai and click "Add to Slack".
To uninstall
In Slack, go to Apps → Sauna → Configuration → Remove App. OAuth access is revoked immediately and all associated Slack data is deleted automatically within 14 days.
To disconnect your personal Slack authorization from the Sauna web agent
Go to sauna.ai → Settings → Connections → Disconnect Slack. User tokens are revoked and user-scoped Slack data is deleted automatically within 14 days.
To request deletion of Slack data without uninstalling
Email support@wordware.ai with the subject "Slack data removal". We respond within 2 business days.

Common questions

How does Sauna use my Slack data?
Only to respond to the user who invoked Sauna, take the specific actions instructed, and personalize that user's Sauna experience. No background syncs or crawls. See Privacy Policy §4.1.
Is my Slack data used to train AI models?
No. Sauna reaches LLM providers through their commercial APIs, whose standard terms prohibit retention for model training. See Privacy Policy §4.3.
Which LLM providers does Sauna use?
Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, and Moonshot (Kimi), with additional providers added over time. See Privacy Policy §4.3.
Who is Pipedream?
Our OAuth broker sub-processor — holds OAuth tokens on Sauna's behalf and proxies third-party API calls. See Privacy Policy §4.4.
Does Sauna share data between workspaces?
No. Sauna does not share data between different customers' Slack workspaces. Where one user connects multiple workspaces to their own Sauna account, the agent may reference content across those workspaces only when that user explicitly asks it to. See Privacy Policy §4.1.
What happens to Slack event payloads Sauna receives but doesn't act on?
They are discarded and not stored. See Privacy Policy §4.1 (passthrough data).
AI accuracy disclaimer
Sauna uses large language models that can produce inaccurate or unexpected output. Review any agent action — especially writes to Slack (messages, reactions, file uploads) — before relying on it.
