Brain Access

Give someone access to your whole Sauna — your files, memory, connections, and tools.

Brain Access lets someone else use your Sauna instead of running their own. They ask a question, and Sauna answers from your files, your memory, your connected apps. You stay in control of who has access and what they can do.

Roles

Read-only Brain

  • They can read your files and search your history.
  • They can't use your connections (Gmail, Calendar, etc.) or modify anything.
  • Useful when you want someone to look something up without acting on your behalf.

Full Brain

  • They can use all of your tools, skills, memories, and connections (Gmail, Calendar, etc.) and act on your behalf.
  • They can read, write, and act exactly as you can.
  • Only share with people you trust. A Full Brain guest can send email from your Gmail, change your calendar, edit your files, and run anything Sauna can run.

Inviting someone

In Settings, open Brain Access. Search for the person you want to add, pick Read-only Brain or Full Brain, and send the invite.

Using a Brain you've been given access to

Just ask. Tell Sauna what you need from the shared Brain and it'll handle the rest, scoped to the role you were given.

Revoking access

Owner. In Settings, open Brain Access, find the person, and choose Remove from the menu next to them. Access is cut immediately.

Guest. Leave from the same screen if you no longer need access.
