Dashboard
Every session Sauna is working on, reviewing, or has finished, in three columns and a Zen Mode reading view.
Dashboard is every session Sauna has going: what it's working on now, what's waiting on you, and what it's already wrapped up.
You land here when you want to keep tabs on Sauna's work. Skim what it's driving forward, catch up on what's asking for your eyes, and park anything that's already shipped.
- Working and Review are live columns, side by side, with a count badge on each.
- Filter and History sit in the top-right.
- The
+in the sidebar opens a fresh session.
Working, Review, History
Every session Sauna has ever had lives in one of three buckets.
- Working: the agent is in flight (reading, planning, drafting, calling tools).
- Review: the agent has finished a pass and wants your eyes, or it's paused on a question only you can answer.
- History: the archive. Open it from the History button in the top-right.
Once History is open, a Done / Junk dropdown next to the title flips the panel between the two archives.
Done sessions are the ones you've wrapped up. Sauna processes them in the background and surfaces learnings for your review. The ones you accept land in Knowledge (My Files, Memory, Skills); the rest don't.
Junk is for sessions that didn't go well or one-offs you don't want Sauna to learn from. Nothing in Junk feeds back into Knowledge.
The History panel has its own search input and a newest/oldest sort toggle, and it still respects whatever you've set in the top-level Filter.
Zen Mode
Zen Mode turns the Review queue into a keyboard-driven triage lane. One session fills the screen, you burn through it with shortcuts, and cards peel off as you go.
Press Z then M anywhere on the dashboard to enter. Esc exits. The dock at the bottom is the full cheat sheet for whichever mode you're in; below are the keys you'll reach for every pass.
Reading a session:
- J or ←: previous session.
- K or →: next session.
- A: open the artifacts panel for the session you're on.
- E: marks it done, sends it to History, and kicks off the learning pass on the session.
- Enter: pop open a reply box.
When a session has more than one artifact:
- , (comma) and . (period) step through artifacts.
- M moves the artifact you're looking at into Knowledge.
Once Respond is open, the Chat Input Box is yours:
- Enter: send the message.
- ⌘ + Enter is Fire & Forget. When Sauna's waiting on you to greenlight an action (send an email, post a message, create a ticket), ⌘+Enter approves it, kicks off the learning pass on the session, and jumps to the next card in one shot.
- Press and release V: talk to Sauna.
Session card menu
Every card has a two-button row that shows up on hover: a 3-dot menu for shelf actions, and a check mark for one-click "done".
The 3-dot menu:
- Add Project (label flips to Edit Project if the session already has tags). Opens a small picker: check an existing project or make a new one. Projects let you filter the whole board by theme.
- Learn. Kicks off a background pass where Sauna reviews the session and suggests updates to Knowledge (new files, new memories, new skills). You accept or reject each suggestion in the session chat.
- Junk. Files the session in the Junk archive inside History. No learning, no reappearance on the board.
The check mark next to the menu marks the session done in one click. The tooltip tells you what'll happen: Mark done on an active session, Mark active on a done one, Unjunk on a junked one.
Menu items flex with state: Learn drops out while a session is actively learning or already has learnings waiting on your review, and Junk drops out on cards that are already in Junk (the check button becomes Unjunk there).
Filter
Narrow the board by where a session came from or which project it belongs to.
The Filter button (top-right) opens a dropdown with two sections.
Source filters by the surface a session was triggered from:
- Sauna (the web app)
- iMessage
- Scheduled (a recurring task Sauna ran on a timer)
- Slack
- Superhuman
Tick any combination; only sessions from those sources show up.
Projects are the tags you pin to sessions from the card menu. Filtering by a project narrows the board to just those sessions.
The + next to Projects makes a new one: a name and one of eight color swatches. The pencil flips the section into edit mode, where clicking a project opens a small form to rename or recolor it.
Clear filters wipes both sections at once.
